Marcy Hamilton – Deputy Executive Director/Senior Planner

email: hamiltonm@swmpc.org Marcy is an experienced Senior Planner who has developed a track record of implementing successful projects for a variety of clients around the Southwest Michigan region. She joined SWMPC in 2003, and in 2017 was promoted to also serve as Deputy Executive Director. Marcy brings to SWMPC a multi-faceted wealth of experience in environmental planning/water quality; transportation – mostly non-motorized; economic development; community planning – recreation plans, master plans, hazard mitigation plans; and grant writing. Marcy holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and environmental studies from Ohio Northern University and a Master of Environmental Science Degree from Miami University, Ohio. Marcy’s inspiration is working with passionate people to make Southwest Michigan a better place to live, play, work and visit. Her dedication to protecting and improving water quality of the lakes, streams, rivers, wetlands and Lake Michigan for current and future generations is helping to improve the quality of life for all in our Southwest Michigan communities. |
