Bekah joined the SWMPC team in 2023, bringing with her experience in city planning, project management, and community outreach. She holds a LEED Green Associate Certification from the Green Business Certification Inc. and has received a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science and a Master of Professional Science in Urban Ecology and Sustainable Planning.

Since joining SWMPC, Bekah has worked on numerous projects including leading the region in the new Materials Management Planning, updating the Public Participation Plan, updating community Master Plans, aiding in public engagement activities, and much more.

Passionate about improving the region’s economic and environmental resiliency while minimizing negative impacts on the environment, Bekah is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for Southwest Michigan residents. Her multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment drive her to create lasting positive change in the communities she serves.
