These projects will go through an approval process with the Federal Highway Administration and an approval process to be added to the TwinCATS Transportation Improvement Program or NATS Transportation Improvement Program, as appropriate.

* The exact cost of the Hilltop sidewalk project is not known because a cost estimate has not yet been done for a railroad crossing to connect the St. Joseph Township sidewalk with the Berrien County sidewalk. Thus, If Berrien Bus buys a smaller vehicle, that extra $40,000 will go to the John Beers sidewalk. If more is still needed, the light at Napier & Colfax will be postponed to another year and that funding will be put toward the John Beers sidewalk.
